Voters In TX-36 Will Once Again Have A Representative In The Freedom Caucus After Brian Babin Quit.
Houston, TX – Today, conservative outsider and candidate for Texas’ 36th Congressional District, RJ Boatman, announced his intention to join the Freedom Caucus once elected to Congress. This decision stands in stark contrast to his opponent, Congressman Brian Babin, who turned his back on the Freedom Caucus in 2017 when he quit.
“The Freedom Caucus stands up and defends each and every principle that I have been campaigning on here in TX-36,” said Boatman, “I will be a natural fit, and I will absolutely join. I intend to legislate exactly as I have campaigned: as a fiscal hawk, a conservative warrior, and as a defender of our Constitution.”
Boatman is running as a reliable, conservative alternative to incumbent Representative Brian Babin. For more information on RJ Boatman and his candidacy for Texas’ 36th Congressional District, please visit www.boatmanforcongress.org.
